Privacy Policy

Gloop

Last updated: July 16, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Gloop handles information when you use the mobile game.

Short version: Gloop does not ask for an account and does not directly collect, sell, or share personal information from players. The app may display ads and may offer in-app purchases, which can involve third-party services such as an app store, billing provider, or advertising provider.

Information We Collect

Gloop does not directly collect personal information from users. We do not require a name, email address, phone number, account login, profile, precise location, health information, or user-generated personal content to play the game.

The game may store local gameplay information on your device, such as save progress, settings, collected items, and unlocked progress. This information is used only to run the game and is not sent to us by the app.

Advertising

Gloop may show advertisements. Advertising partners may process limited device, ad interaction, or diagnostic information to load ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with their own legal obligations. These activities are handled by the advertising provider under its own privacy terms.

Where required by law or platform policy, the app or the advertising provider may request consent or apply privacy settings such as child-directed treatment, limited ads, or non-personalized ads.

In-App Purchases

Gloop may offer in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by the app store or billing provider, not directly by us. We do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank details, or store account password. The store may provide purchase status or receipt information so the app can unlock purchased content or features.

Children's Privacy and COPPA

Gloop is designed to avoid direct collection of personal information from children. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from children under 13. If ads are shown to children, the app should be configured to use child-appropriate privacy settings required by the platform and advertising provider.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and delete any information if applicable. Because Gloop does not operate user accounts or direct collection forms, we expect this situation to be uncommon.

HIPAA and Health Information

Gloop is an entertainment game and is not a health care service. The app does not request, collect, store, transmit, or process protected health information. We are not acting as a HIPAA covered entity or business associate through this game.

Because the app does not handle protected health information, its design is intended to avoid HIPAA-regulated data processing. Do not submit or attempt to store medical, health, insurance, or treatment information in the app.

Device Permissions

Gloop is intended to operate without requesting sensitive personal permissions such as contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, or health data access. Platform-level permissions, if any, should be limited to what is needed for gameplay, ads, purchases, storage of local game progress, or normal app operation.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Since Gloop does not directly collect personal information, we do not share user personal information with third parties for our own separate marketing purposes.

Third-party services involved in ads, purchases, crash diagnostics, distribution, or platform operations may process information according to their own privacy policies and platform requirements.

Data Retention

Local save data remains on your device until you delete it, reset progress, uninstall the app, clear app storage, or otherwise remove it through your device or platform tools. We do not maintain a cloud account database for Gloop players.

Your Choices

Security

We use a data-minimization approach by not directly collecting personal information for gameplay. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but collecting less personal data reduces privacy risk.

International Users

Third-party platform, advertising, and billing providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features, advertising setup, purchase options, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. The updated version will include a new "Last updated" date.
